OUR WORK
Crisis Communications
Often the success of a PR campaign is what you don’t read in the papers. This was the case when a much-loved local brand in the Byron Shire found itself in troubled waters when its customers were split down the middle in relation to adhering to Covid 19 regulations.

This issue came to a head as the Delta variant of Covid 19 marched up the coast, and Latitude PR was called in to provide some advice as the chatter was reaching fever pitch. We responded immediately, working to have our response tabled for the Board meeting the following morning at 9am. The recommendations were adopted, and all issues were contained.

Advocacy
Become Education is a new business with a ground-breaking product that will disrupt the way careers education is taught. Even though the business has been active for a few years, they have been so busy developing the product and getting it in schools, they’ve not had the time to lobby politicians to get the product in schools on a macro level.

Latitude PR was retained to reach out to relevant federal and state ministers and advocate on behalf of Become. In almost all cases, ministers met with Become to see the program in action. We are now working on stage two of the campaign. Watch this space for more information on how Become will be a key component in careers education moving forward.

Business Launch
Eden to Atlantis is a soon to be launched holiday provisioning business in Byron Bay. This new offering will provide holiday makers everything from a cheese platters and champagne on arrival to a full fridge of groceries and chef prepared meals.

Latitude PR was brought on to help with brand identity, all website content, SEO and launch strategy and then help with launching the business. An idea which was implemented was to send a gift pack of a mini shopping trolley with Byron Bay treats to travel journalists around Australia. The media loved it and Eden to Atlantis enjoyed national coverage.
